The farm is set in 32 acres of beautiful Devon countryside with the back drop of the tors of the Dartmoor National Park which is less than a mile away, down a quiet country lane. Riding on Dartmoor is limitless with areas for fast gallops, and scenic rides, moorland and forest. There are rivers to ford and hills to climb. The Grange Equestrian Centre is 15 minutes away and holds unaffiliated competitions as well as British Dressage and BSJA shows. There are cross country courses at Winkleigh and Hatherleigh both of which run BE Events.
At Ball Hill Equestrian there is a floodlit all weather arena, summer jumping paddock, grass gallops, secure tack rooms, feed room,storage space for hay and bedding, kitchen and toilet. There are 16 stables in two stable yards. The front yard is a picturesque cob yard with large threshing barn, it is made up of four pony stables and six large boxes 12x12. The back stable yard is an American barn with six 16 x12 stables and a tack room.
All paddocks are securely fenced with brand new post and rail fencing and fenced walkways to fields to ensure you can turn your horse out safely.
Mares and geldings are grazed separately in small single sexed herds and we have winter and summer paddocks so there is always plenty of good grazing for your horse.
We make our own hay off our carefully managed land so we know the forage your horse receives is of the highest standard and guaranteed ragwort free

All stables have rubber matting and many have automatic drinkers.
Lorry and trailer parking available on site on an area of hard standing.
Flatwork / dressage lessons are available on site and own instructors are welcome provided they have the correct insurance.
