Ball Hill Farm When we bought the farm in February 2007, the house had been untouched for years and the land had been over grazed. There was one working gate and all the others needed replacing along with all the sheep netting and barbed wire. We have put in over a mile of post and rail fencing, 3 new water troughs, a new agricultural drive so that farm machinery can make it into the fields and 15 new gates. The holiday cottage has been gutted and renovated, with new windows, new electrics, a new kitchen, new carpet and is now a cosy home from home with views across the stable yard to the fields beyond.
The farm is in the most wonderful situation - only three minutes from the A30 approximately 2 miles outside Okehampton and just outside the Dartmoor National Park. From the garden you can see across to Belstone Tor, Yes Tor and High Willhayes. We are totally surrounded by our own land in our own small valley.
